Glenelg's Colley Reserve will once again play host to Adelaide’s hottest festival this July with the return of the Glenelg Winter Arts Festival.

From 5 to 21 July, the reserve will be transformed with not one but two heated performance spaces and a great line-up of live acts thanks to the festival’s creators, Gluttony.

City of Holdfast Bay Mayor Amanda Wilson is excited to welcome back crowds for the second edition of the Glenelg Winter Arts Festival.

“Glenelg is perfectly positioned to host a winter festival once again, with so much to enjoy – before and after seeing a show,” Mayor Wilson said.

“It’s so easy to jump on a tram from the city and arrive in the heart of Glenelg at Moseley Square.

"Take a stroll over to Colley Reserve, grab a bite to eat along the way on Jetty Road and then enjoy a fantastic line-up of live shows, including comedians, burlesque and circus performers.

“And as the performance space has doubled this year, that means double the fun.”

The program is out today and includes comedy royalty Wil Anderson and Geraldine Hickey, singer Prinnie Stevens, physical theatre specialists Fool’s Paradise and family favourite Circus the Show.

“This year promises to be bigger, better, and more unforgettable than ever before,” Gluttony director Elena Kirschbaum said.

“Festival-goers can expect the same signature atmosphere that made last year's event so special, with even more surprises and delights in store.”

New experiences this year include a precinct walking food tour, a Teddy Bears Picnic and Dogs Day Out.

“The thing I love most is that this is more than just an arts festival - it’s a place to make memories, escape the chill of winter with warm company and experience the best of Glenelg," Mayor Wilson said.

Glenelg Winter Arts Festival is presented by Gluttony in partnership with the City of Holdfast Bay and Jetty Road, Glenelg.

Tickets are on sale now.
