The ecosystems in our city are diverse, ranging from suburban gardens to natural woodland, sand dunes, and of course, the sea.

We have a strong and committed environmental volunteer group. We are grateful for the invaluable contribution volunteers make to building a rich and healthy local environment.

These publications inform the council’s strategic directions and objectives. They are regularly reviewed and updated as required by legislation or in response to changes and community expectations.
