Join Kerrie from KESAB for a session that combines educational insights with interactive fun! This event will feature a dynamic presentation on waste and recycling in the home, highlighting the best practices for waste sorting and disposal. Kerrie will explore which bins to use for different types of waste, with a special focus on the new compostable packaging emerging from the September 2024 Single Use Plastic (SUP) bans. KESAB will showcase examples of compostable packaging and explain which logos to look for and which types should go in the green bin.

The session will also cover ‘tricky waste’ items like batteries and electronic waste, with attendees encouraged to bring along any items they are unsure about. You will also have the opportunity to play our Mini Bin Game to help test your newfound knowledge.

Don’t miss this opportunity to become more waste-wise and ask all your recycling-related questions!

Keep South Australia Beautiful (KESAB) started in 1966 as a litter reduction campaign.
