House History Research Enquiry Form

Discover all about your house, when it was built and its past owners through the Centre’s House History research service.

Cost per request is $35.00. All donations received help facilitate the ongoing conservation of the Holdfast Bay History Collection. You will be contacted once your application has been assessed to arrange payment.

This is a volunteer run service, with House Histories taking between four to six weeks to complete.

Though all of the below searches will be completed, please note this does not guarantee that photographs or plans etc. will be located.

What does the search include?

Holdfast Bay Historical rates search for the years 1856 to 1945.
Holdfast Bay historical real estate sales search for the years 1987 to present.
Holdfast Bay Vertical Files search.
Holdfast Bay Catalogue search, including photographs and aerial imagery.
TROVE, National Library of Australia newspaper search (including articles, advertising and family notices up until 1955).
State Library of South Australia search (including photographs, plans and documents).
