Community Planting, Hove

The City of Holdfast Bay has been diligently working to improve the facilities at the Holdfast Bay Community Centre in Hove, including the gardens around the centre. Our open space team has tidied up some of these areas, and they are now ready for planting!

We invite you to join Council for a fun morning of planting followed by a sausage sizzle. This will be an opportunity to volunteer your time, get to know other residents, local schools and the wider community and assist in building a community that cares about each other and the environment.

Please arrive at 10:45 a.m. to allow time for registrations. Bring gardening gloves and a small hand trowel. Wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and a hat or rain jacket (depending on the weather). We will provide any additional tools and equipment that are needed. Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian at a 1 to 3 ratio.

Bookings are essential to ensure we have enough equipment for everyone.
