The Brighton Districts and Old Scholars Football Club (BDOS), affectionately known as The Brighton Bombers, has existed for over 130 years. The club competes in the Adelaide Footy League with three senior teams and numerous junior teams for boys and girls.

The Brighton Cricket Club prides itself on being a competitive and successful club. It promotes enjoyment, participation, and mateship and provides excellent training, playing, and social activities.

The two clubs share the building in the centre of the complex, and the community facilities are available for hire.

Depending on the configuration, the building contains an upstairs function space certified for 275 people and includes a commercial kitchen and bar facilities.
