Milton Street Mural

Design and created by Vans the Omega, the Chittleborough Lane mural located just off Sussex Street was installed in 2015 to brighten up the dull lane and combat some of the ongoing graffiti vandalism that was happening at the site. The mural extends along the side and to the back of the building.

The series of nine segment petals are located on the pergola along the laneway, using inland dichroic (specialised) optical filters the artworks allow light to pass through the petals and cast vivid ever-changing coloured shadows onto the path below.

This artwork was Lisa King’s first large-scale mural in Adelaide.
