Glenelg Community Centre Mural

This artwork was Lisa King’s first large-scale mural in Adelaide.

This memorial honours the deeds and sacrifice of war service animals. The large photographic image of Members of the 10^th Battalion exercising their horses at Glenelg Beach in 1915 and is a fitting reminder of the important, selfless and loyal contribution animals made during times of conflict for our nation.

This sculpture was made as a symbol of love and is installed in a site that features the Glenelg Town Hall and the stunning foreshore at Glenelg. The Big Red Heart encourages people to spread love daily to make someone’s day a brighter day and regularly appears on people’s social media.
