The Brighton Civic Centre will be closed from 2.30pm Tuesday 24 December 2024 to Wednesday 1 January 2025. We will reopen at 8.30am on Thursday 2 January 2025.
However, payments can be received at the Glenelg Library, Colley Terrace, Glenelg, during normal business days, from 9am – 5pm.

Bin collections
There will be no bin collection service on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day.
All bin collections, which usually occur on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, will be one day later than usual in the weeks starting Monday 23 December and Monday 30 December 2024.

Additional Christmas collection
For residents on our sustainable service - who have their green-lid FOGO bins collected weekly - we will provide one extra landfill bin collection for these households in the week beginning Monday 30 December 2024.
You can put out all three bins on your collection day in the week beginning Monday 30 December 2024.
