Books for free – and a whole lot more
Did you know we have more than 44,000 books across our collections at both the Brighton and Glenelg libraries – and they’re all available for you to borrow and read? But that’s not all.
Aside from books, you can borrow DVDs, CDs, magazines, and toys with more than 170 items in the toy collection across both library branches.
And everyone who holds a SA library card has access to all the books across public libraries in South Australia. That means with your Holdfast Bay library card, you could potentially access more than 2.2 million books.
With your library membership card, you can also listen to 170,000 songs, and 23,000 audiobooks and watch 16,000 movies via the various digital platforms and apps available through the public library network.
Plus our libraries hold hundreds of events each year, for toddlers to grown-ups and everyone in between.
Visit the Brighton or Glenelg Library to get your own membership card – and best of all, it’s free.
