We offer one free hard rubbish collection per financial year to City of Holdfast Bay residents, for items that are too large to put in the domestic three-bin system. This includes the collection and recycling of mattresses and e-waste.

Council provides two kerbside collection services. One is a 'sustainable' service with weekly green FOGO bin collections (and fortnightly yellow and red bin collections). The other is the 'old service' with weekly red landfill bin collections (and fortnightly green and yellow bin collections).
