Beach Polo Adelaide at Glenelg Beach postponed until Saturday 25 February due to inclement weather

Polo Events Australia has today informed ticketholders for the highly anticipated inaugural Beach Polo Adelaide on Glenelg Beach that the event will be postponed until Saturday 25 February due to a ‘foreboding’ weather forecast of high winds, cool temperatures and rain on the original date of Saturday 18 February. While the association hopes all ticketholders will come along on the new date, those who cannot attend will be fully refunded.

City of Holdfast Bay Mayor Stephen Patterson says this year’s Australia Day at the Bay offers a true-blue beachside Australia Day experience, with an early community barbecue breakfast from 7am, official ceremonies from 9am to welcome new Australian citizens and celebrate local heroes, and a big, free family fun day on the Glenelg Foreshore PLUS the opportunity to congratulate Holdfast Bay’s own Olympic swimming champ, Kyle Chalmers, as he receives the keys to the City of Holdfast Bay!

30,000 expected at Glenelg's Tour Down Under Street Party!

City of Holdfast Bay Mayor Stephen Patterson says Glenelg’s Jetty Road is preparing to welcome around 30,000 people to its huge Glenelg Tour Down Under Street Party this Wednesday night from 5pm to late, and around 7,500 to Thursday morning’s Santos Tour Down Under Hansgrohe Stage 3 Race Start.
